Our intended commercial policy is: all sales are final. Because Trade Journal provides digital software and services, and access can be delivered immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once access has been provided.
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions for Trade Journal (Basic, Pro, and Diamond plans). It describes our voluntary commercial refund practices and the legal exceptions that override them where applicable.
The following circumstances ordinarily do not create refund eligibility under our voluntary refund policy:
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts refunds, reversals, withdrawal rights, consumer rights, payment-error remedies, fraud remedies, card-network rights, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law or payment-provider rules.
Where applicable law requires a refund or provides a statutory withdrawal right, that law controls and supersedes the general policy above. This exception is mandatory and cannot be waived by this policy.
Payment-layer issues such as the following may be handled through Whop and payment-provider procedures:
If you believe a charge was made in error or without authorization, contact us through the Support page and, where appropriate, through your payment provider's dispute process. We do not control Whop's entire payment system and do not contradict Whop's mandatory refund, payment-dispute, or consumer-right processes.
Some jurisdictions provide consumers with a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase within a specified period. Where such rights apply and cannot be excluded, they remain available to you notwithstanding the general "all sales final" policy. You may be required to acknowledge that you are waiving a withdrawal right by consenting to immediate delivery of digital content at checkout, where permitted by applicable law.
Cancellation and refunds are different things. Cancellation stops future renewal. Refunds return amounts already charged. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund the current billing period. See the Cancellation Policy for details on what happens when paid access ends.
To request a review of a charge, contact us through the Support page with your account email and the transaction details. We will review your request according to this policy, applicable law, and payment-provider rules.
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes do not retroactively affect charges already processed. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
