These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Trade Journal platform, including the Trade Journal application, and all related features (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By registering an account, logging in, or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the Cancellation Policy, and the Risk Disclosure. If you do not agree with any provision, you must discontinue use of the Service.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this obligation. Two-factor authentication is available and recommended where offered.
The Service offers the following public subscription tiers:
List prices are subject to change as described in the "Changes to Pricing" section. Promotional codes may alter the amount actually charged. The checkout price presented by the payment provider at purchase is authoritative for that transaction.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the billing interval selected at checkout. Payments may be processed through Whop and its payment infrastructure, or through other payment providers we may use from time to time.
By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method according to your subscription interval (e.g., monthly) until you cancel. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid. If a charge fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment is resolved.
Promotional or discount codes may be offered from time to time. Promotional pricing is temporary and does not change the list price of a plan. A promotional code alters the amount charged for the billing period(s) it applies to; the standard list price resumes when the promotion ends or the code is no longer valid. We may modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time.
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by applicable law or payment-provider rules. See the Cancellation Policy for full details.
Our intended commercial policy is that all sales are final for digital services. However, statutory rights and payment-provider dispute processes are not excluded. See the Refund Policy for full details.
The Free plan provides manual journaling for up to 10 trades per month on 1 account at no cost. No payment method is required. We may modify the features included in the Free plan at any time. Free-plan users are still bound by these Terms.
Paid plans (Basic, Pro) provide access to additional features as described on the pricing page. Feature availability is subject to your active subscription tier and may change as described in the "Changes to Features" section. Admin users may bypass commercial entitlement constraints for platform administration purposes.
The features available to you depend on your subscription tier, as described on the pricing page. We may add, change, or retire features as described in the "Changes to Features" section.
The Trade Journal application allows you to log trades, track performance, manage accounts, review analytics, and use various journaling and review tools. Access to Trade Journal features depends on your subscription tier. The Free plan includes manual journaling with the limits described above.
The Service includes AI-powered features such as AI Coach, AI Review, AI Risk Planner, and other tools. AI output is generated by machine-learning models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or incorrect. AI output does not constitute investment, financial, legal, or tax advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. See the Risk Disclosure for full AI disclaimers.
The Auto Import feature brings trades into your journal from a CSV file or from MT4/MT5 by webhook. This is a convenience feature for journaling purposes. You are responsible for checking that imported trades are complete and accurate; your broker's records remain authoritative.
Market information displayed in the Service may originate from third-party data providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, tick-perfect, or error-free market data. See the Risk Disclosure for full market-data disclaimers.
The Service integrates with third-party services including payment providers (Whop), AI providers, market-data providers, and notification services. Your use of these third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.
Paid subscriptions and payments may be processed through Whop and its payment infrastructure. You may also be subject to Whop's applicable buyer and payment terms. Our application may provide a cancellation interface, but server-side Whop subscription state remains authoritative for billing where Whop processes the subscription. We do not control Whop's entire payment system and do not contradict Whop's mandatory refund, payment-dispute, or consumer-right processes.
You may use the Service for your personal trading journaling, analysis, and educational purposes in accordance with these Terms and your subscription tier.
You agree not to, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
This list is not exhaustive. We do not claim ownership over generic ideas, ordinary trading concepts, public market information, third-party libraries, or third-party intellectual property.
Subject to applicable ownership and licensing arrangements, the Service's proprietary software, original interface designs, branding assets, original content, documentation, analytical systems, and other protected materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of Trade Journal. See the Intellectual Property Policy for full details.
You may store trades, notes, screenshots, journal entries, emotions, strategies, and other personal trading information in the Service. You retain ownership of your original content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display your content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your original content.
The Service may occasionally be updated, modified, temporarily unavailable, maintained, or interrupted. We do not guarantee 100% uptime unless we offer a specific contractual SLA, which we do not currently offer. Features may evolve over time. This section does not excuse fraudulent billing or override mandatory consumer obligations under applicable law.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes, but continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified features.
We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the next renewal cycle. Price changes do not retroactively affect charges already processed.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service for reasons including fraud, abuse, security attacks, unauthorized account sharing, payment fraud, attempted system compromise, illegal use, or material violations of these Terms. Suspension decisions will be reasonable and not arbitrary. Paid-period and refund consequences remain subject to applicable law and payment-provider rules.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Termination does not automatically delete your stored Trade Journal data unless required by law or our data-retention practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Trading and investing involve substantial risk. Users can lose some or all capital used for trading or investing. Past performance does not guarantee future results. See the Risk Disclosure for the full trading disclaimer.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or incorrect. AI output should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions. AI scores and grades are analytical model outputs, not probabilities of guaranteed financial success. AI-generated explanations do not create an advisory relationship.
Market information may be delayed, contain errors, be unavailable, be incomplete, or be revised. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, tick-perfect, or error-free market data. Users should verify critical market information through appropriate primary or execution sources before making financial decisions.
Trade Journal is software, analytics, journaling, educational, and market-intelligence products. They are not intended to provide personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You remain responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trade Journal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, lost opportunities, trading losses, investment losses, data interruptions, market-data errors, AI errors, service outages, or third-party service failures arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This section does not exclude or limit liability where applicable law does not permit such exclusion or limitation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trade Journal and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, illegal activity, violations of these Terms, or infringement caused by material you submit or post.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any specific governing law and jurisdiction will be as determined by the operator and communicated as required by applicable law.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in accordance with applicable law and the relevant dispute-resolution procedures. Consumer-law carve-outs and mandatory dispute processes under applicable law will apply where required.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
